On November 9 and 10, 2023, the 8th Gender and Commerce Meeting was held in the Regional Blocks, with TATICCA as one of the supporting companies, represented by director Elisa Botelho and our international business partner, Mrs. Nádia Casagrande, CEO of Global Line. The event was sponsored by CEMM - Mercosur Women's Business Convergence and CEMB - Women's Business Convergence of Brazil and held at FIESP in São Paulo. It brought entourages from the Women's Convergences from Argentina, Paraguay, and Uruguay, as well as businesswomen from Colombia, Bolivia, and Ecuador.
On the first day, the president of the OBME Brazilian Business Women's Organization, Lilian Schiavo, led the opening of the event. Important guidelines were presented and discussed, such as: Current situation of Mercosur and Negotiations with the European Union and the impact on Trade, Strategies and Actions to interrelate Women Entrepreneurs from Mercosur and the European Union, Tools to empower women entrepreneurs: “Women Entrepreneurs” Seal. To make up the discussion tables, the event brought important guests such as Ambassador Irene Vida Gala, the deputy and member of the European Parliament Immaculada Rodriguez Piñeiro, and Minister Philip Fo-Drummond Gough from the Department of Economic, Financial and Services Policy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Brazil. Mrs. Rita Campagnoli, President Pro Tempore and Director of Derex attended the opening, conducted and moderated the discussion tables, and also closed the event alongside Mrs. Laura Velasquez, Executive Coordinator of CemmerCosul.
